Trump lashes out at Vindman
Washington, August 19 (Hibya) - U.S. President Donald Trump said former National Security Council official Alexander Vindman’s election defeat was “the most satisfying loss” for him, using harsh language against Vindman.
Trump recalled Vindman’s past statements regarding his phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, arguing that the call had been routinely recorded and that he had been right.
Calling Vindman “a scoundrel who betrayed his country,” Trump said: “The fake impeachment attempt against me largely failed.”
Trump argued that Vindman should be investigated over his actions against him, saying: “Vindman should be prosecuted for what he did.”
Trump also welcomed Vindman’s election defeat and argued that Republican Senator Ashley Moody of Florida would be successful going forward.
