Washington, August 18 (Hibya) - United States (US) President Donald Trump announced that no talks or contacts are taking place with Iran and that there is no scheduled meeting.

Trump said in his statement, "There are no ongoing or scheduled talks or contacts with the Islamic Republic of Iran."
Stating that the naval blockade remains in place, Trump said, "The naval blockade is fully in effect and continues to have an impact." Noting that the Strait of Hormuz is open and operational, Trump said, "The Strait of Hormuz is open and operating."
Trump also stated, "All sea mines have been removed or detonated and neutralized."
