Trump: The naval blockade concerning Iran will remain fully in effect
Washington, April 17 (Hibya) – US President Donald Trump made a statement regarding the current situation in the Strait of Hormuz and the ongoing negotiation process with Iran.
US President Donald Trump emphasized commercial activity and security determination in the region, providing information on diplomatic processes and the naval blockade.
Sharing details about the strait, Trump said: “The Strait of Hormuz is fully open and ready for trade and full transit, but until our agreement with Iran is 100 percent complete, the naval blockade concerning only Iran will remain fully in effect.”
Regarding negotiations, Trump added: “This process should move very quickly, as most points have already been negotiated.”
He concluded: “Thank you for your interest in this matter!”
