UAE Ministry of Defense: 9 ballistic missiles and 33 UAVs neutralized
Abu Dhabi, March 14 (Hibya) - The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defense announced that a total of 9 ballistic missiles and 33 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched from Iran were successfully intercepted by air defense systems.
The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defense shared updated defense data regarding the ongoing attacks originating from Iran.
During operations carried out on March 14, UAE air defense systems reportedly neutralized 9 ballistic missiles and 33 UAVs before they could reach their targets.
The ministry stated: "Since the beginning of Iran's overt aggression, the United Arab Emirates air defense systems have neutralized 294 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1600 UAVs launched from Iran."
It was also reported that 141 people with nationalities from the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Uganda, Eritrea, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Comoros, Türkiye, Iraq, Nepal, Nigeria, Oman, Jordan, Palestine, Ghana, Indonesia, and Sweden were injured with minor to moderate injuries.
