UAE Ministry of Defense launches National and Reserve Service Employment Fair
The 9th National and Reserve Service Employment Fair, organized by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Defense, has opened at the Dubai Expo Centre. More than 55 public and private sector organizations, along with nine academic institutions, are showcasing career and education opportunities for UAE citizens.
Lieutenant General Ibrahim Nasser Al Alawi, Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Defense, inaugurated the ninth edition of the National and Reserve Service Employment Fair.
Organized by the National and Reserve Service Authority under the Ministry of Defense, the fair is being held at the Dubai Expo Centre from July 15 to 17, 2026.
The opening ceremony was attended by Major General Issa Rashid Al Mehairi, Chairman of the National and Reserve Service Authority, as well as numerous senior officials and military officers.
During a tour of the exhibition, Al Alawi and the accompanying delegation received information about career opportunities and professional development programs offered by more than 55 public and private sector organizations and nine academic institutions.
The fair aims to align educational outcomes with labor market needs and direct more than 20,000 UAE citizens toward employment opportunities in critical sectors.
The UAE Ministry of Defense stated that the event reflects the country's leadership's vision of investing in national human capital, emphasizing that the values of discipline and responsibility gained through national service play an important role in supporting citizens' contributions to national development and the knowledge economy.
