During the call, bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Botswana, as well as activities within international organizations and regional security issues, were discussed. The parties agreed to intensify political dialogue at all levels, strengthen coordination on multilateral platforms, and expand the bilateral legal framework.

Particular emphasis was placed on cooperation aimed at preventing the participation of citizens from African countries in Russia’s war against Ukraine. Sybiha expressed appreciation for Botswana’s sensitivity and willingness to cooperate on this issue.

Minister Sybiha also stated that opportunities to develop economic cooperation between the two countries are being evaluated.
