Ukrainian President Zelensky met with his South Korean counterpart
Kyiv, October 29 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol.
Ukrainian President Zelensky announced that he had a meeting with South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol.
He thanked his counterpart for South Korea's continued support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as for the financial and humanitarian assistance that has been provided and promised.
We discussed the involvement of North Korean military forces in Russia's occupation of Ukraine. The outcome is clear: this war is internationalizing and transcending the two countries.
Zelensky noted that he shared the latest data on the deployment of 3,000 North Korean soldiers in Russian training areas near the conflict zone, and that this number is expected to rise to around 12,000.
Zelensky stated, “We agreed to strengthen intelligence and expertise exchanges, particularly at the highest level, to intensify contacts at all levels, to develop an action strategy and countermeasures to address this escalation, and to involve our mutual partners in cooperation.”
