UNRWA: Waste is piling up in Gaza, endangering people's health and lives
New York, March 28 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) reported that waste is accumulating in Gaza, putting people's health and lives at risk.
The UNRWA stated that waste continues to accumulate in Gaza, creating serious risks to public health and human life.
The statement noted that "many people are forced to live in tents among piles of garbage." It added: "The growing waste crisis is intensifying environmental and public health challenges and deepening the suffering of those already struggling with indescribable hardship."
