Istanbul, July 15 (Hibya) - U.S. equity markets ended the trading day higher. Buying in technology stocks helped maintain the positive momentum across the major indices.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.02 percent to 52,508.27 points. The S&P 500 Index gained 0.38 percent to close at 7,543.59 points.
The technology-heavy Nasdaq Composite advanced 0.90 percent to 26,107.008 points, while the Nasdaq 100 Index climbed 1.10 percent to finish the day at 29,586.287 points.
The small-cap Russell 2000 Index also gained 0.39 percent, rising to 2,964.764 points.
