U.S. stock markets dominated by gains
Istanbul, May 29 (Hibya) - U.S. markets showed a buying trend during the week's trading session.
U.S. markets showed a positive performance during the week's trading session. The Dow Jones (DJIA) index rose 0.05 percent to 50,668.97 points. The S&P 500 index gained 0.58 percent to reach 7,563.63 points.
The tech-heavy Nasdaq index traded at 26,917.471 points, up 0.91 percent, while the Russell 2000 (RUSS 2K) index rose 0.57 percent to 2,936.57 points.
The VIX index, which measures market volatility, fell 3.38 percent to 15.74 points.
