Azerbaijani President Aliyev meets Council of Europe Secretary General Berset
Antalya, April 12 (Hibya) – President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with Secretary General of the Council of Europe Alain Berset in Antalya.
President Aliyev met with Council of Europe Secretary General Alain Berset during the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
Both sides expressed their satisfaction in recalling Berset's visit to Azerbaijan during COP29 and his meeting with Aliyev. They reaffirmed that important decisions on the global climate agenda were taken during COP29.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on the future prospects of relations between Azerbaijan and the executive bodies of the Council of Europe.
