Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov meets with Venezuelan Foreign Minister Gil
Antalya, April 12 (Hibya) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a meeting with Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gil on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
During the meeting, the ministers noted the dynamic progress in bilateral relations in line with the strategic partnership and discussed plans to further strengthen these ties. The discussions focused on enhancing political dialogue, boosting cooperation in trade, investment, scientific and technical fields, and expanding cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
The ministers reaffirmed their commitment to establishing a truly multipolar world order based on the principles of respect for the sovereignty and equality of states and the rejection of unilateral coercive measures.
The Russian side expressed support for the consistent efforts of the Venezuelan authorities to ensure internal political stability, particularly steps taken to address migration issues.
