North Macedonia’s Foreign Minister Timčo Mucunski visited the Macedonian Orthodox Church in Zagreb and held discussions on the diaspora and bilateral relations.

Timčo Mucunski visited the “Sveti Zlata Meglenska” Macedonian Orthodox Church in Zagreb.

During the visit, Mucunski met with the church’s clergy member Protopresbyter Kirko and stated that they evaluated the church’s role in bringing together the Macedonian diaspora and preserving traditions, language, and cultural heritage.

It was also emphasized that the Macedonian diaspora in Croatia plays an important role in developing relations between the two countries and strengthening ties with the homeland.
