Azerbaijani President Aliyev received UNCTAD Secretary-General Grynspan
Baku, March 13 (Hibya) – The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, met with the Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Rebeca Grynspan.

Grynspan congratulated Aliyev on the successful organization of COP29 in Azerbaijan and the significant achievements of the event.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of the 12th Global Baku Forum, organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, and praised its central role in addressing key international issues.
Additionally, the successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and UN institutions was highlighted, along with Azerbaijan’s voluntary financial contributions to these institutions.
