Baqaei: Electrical transformers were the target of these attacks
Tehran, March 16 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei emphasized that despite attacks on the electricity infrastructure, young people quickly restored power outages and preserved the country’s light.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei evaluated the attacks on electricity infrastructure following explosions heard in the skies over Tehran. Baqaei said, “Electrical transformers were the target of these attacks; if they are disabled, the city will be plunged into darkness.”
The spokesperson stated that despite the attacks, young people worked quickly to restore electricity to homes: “Hands that know no fatigue and hearts that want only one thing: Iran must remain illuminated.”
Baqaei added that the dedication of these young people symbolizes the country’s resilience and independence, saying, “Iran is proud of such youth; the silent guardians of the nation’s light.”
