Carney and Starmer hold talks
London, March 16 (Hibya) - Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney discussed strategic cooperation on the Middle East, Ukraine, and Russia with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer in London.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney met with United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer in London today to discuss strengthening the Canada–UK partnership in the areas of trade and security. Carney said, “In a more dangerous and divided world, Canada works closely with its allies.”
The meeting addressed developments in the Middle East, support for Ukraine, maintaining pressure on Russia, and increasing economic cooperation. Carney emphasized that this cooperation would benefit workers in both countries.
