New York, March 16 (Hibya) - United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called for respect, inclusivity, and peace on the International Day to Combat Islamophobia.
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres emphasized in a statement marking the International Day to Combat Islamophobia that narratives of fear and exclusion must be rejected. Guterres said, “Let us eliminate rising anti-Muslim hatred and bigotry together.”
Guterres also stated that societies should be built on respect, inclusivity, justice, and peace, adding: “Let us reject narratives of fear and exclusion. Let us build a world based on respect, inclusivity, justice, and peace.”
