CENTCOM: The Iranian regime targets civilians directly, not bases
Washington, March 1 (Hibya) - The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) rejected Iran’s claims at the United Nations, stating that the regime actively targets numerous civilian sites, including airports, hotels, and residential areas.
The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) released a statement regarding Iran’s attack strategy.
Describing as false the statements made by Iranian officials at the UN Security Council meeting that the attacks were aimed solely at U.S. assets, CENTCOM shared a list of civilian locations that were targeted.
The statement said that the Iranian regime attacked more than a dozen civilian locations, including airports and luxury hotels, and provided the following list:
“Dubai International Airport, Kuwait International Airport, Zayed International Airport, Erbil International Airport, Fairmont Palm Hotel (Dubai), Burj Al Arab Hotel (Dubai), Crowne Plaza Hotel (Bahrain), Dubai Port, Haifa Oil Refinery, residential areas in Beit Shemesh (Israel), residential areas in Tel Aviv (Israel), Era Views Towers residential complex in Bahrain, and residential areas in Qatar”
