Costa congratulates Radev on election victory
Brussels, April 20 (Hibya) – European Council President António Costa congratulated Rumen Radev on his election victory in Bulgaria and expressed readiness to work together.
European Council President António Costa commented on the parliamentary elections in Bulgaria.
In his congratulatory message, Costa said: “I congratulate you on your victory in yesterday’s parliamentary elections in Bulgaria. I am pleased to welcome your return to the European Council.”
Regarding the shared agenda, he added: “As I said during our phone call this morning, I look forward to working with you in the European Council on our common agenda for a prosperous, autonomous and secure Europe.”
Costa concluded: “I wish you all the best in your new role.”
