Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar shared this year’s changes to the program of the March 23 National Day, which is traditionally celebrated with large ceremonies every year.

Stating that the scope of the celebrations has been reduced, Dar said: “This year, March 23 National Day will be marked in a modest manner, limited to the traditional flag-hoisting ceremony at all of Pakistan’s missions abroad.”

Explaining the reasons for the decision under two main headings, Minister Dar said: “In light of the austerity measures announced by the Prime Minister, and as a sign of solidarity with the countries and peoples of the Middle East and the wider region affected by the ongoing conflict and the tragic loss of innocent lives, National Day receptions will not be held this year.”

Expressing hopes for regional peace, Dar concluded his statement by saying: “Pakistan hopes that dialogue and diplomacy will prevail and that peace, stability and prosperity will soon return to the entire region and beyond.”
