Ghebreyesus: Today, 11 trucks carrying medical supplies entered Gaza
Geneva, July 9 (Hibya) – WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced that today, 11 trucks carrying medical supplies sent by WHO and its partners entered Gaza.
Dr. Ghebreyesus stated that the supplies were safely delivered to WHO’s warehouse and from there distributed to health facilities.
"The shipment includes surgical supplies, assistive devices, orthopedic instruments, and other essential medical products. However, the health needs remain extremely high. Much more medical aid is needed. We call for the urgent, large-scale, and unhindered entry of fuel, food, and health assistance into Gaza through all possible routes. Peace is the best medicine!"
