In a statement posted on its social media account, the IDF said troops from the 91st Division continue operating in the security zone in southern Lebanon to eliminate threats against Israeli civilians.
According to the statement, troops from the 300th Brigade and the Yahalom unit destroyed an underground passage dozens of meters long during a targeted operation in the Sarbine area. The Israeli military claimed that Hezbollah used the tunnel to plan and carry out attacks against troops.
The IDF also said that Kfir Brigade troops had been operating in southern Lebanon in recent days and that a combat equipment depot containing rocket launchers and rockets allegedly belonging to Hezbollah had been located and neutralized.
The statement added that troops from the 4th Brigade seized numerous weapons and ammunition in the area, including Kalashnikov-type rifles, anti-tank rockets, and various combat equipment.
