Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs once again reaffirmed its support for the people of Kashmir by participating in a solidarity march held in Islamabad to mark the seventh anniversary of Youm-e-Istehsal (Day of Exploitation).

According to a statement shared on the ministry's social media account, officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led by the Foreign Minister, took part in the solidarity march held on Constitution Avenue in Islamabad.

The statement said the march was organized to "reaffirm Pakistan's unwavering support for the people of Kashmir."

Speaking at the event, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON Amir Muqam stressed that Pakistan would continue supporting the struggle of the people of Kashmir.

Muqam stated that Pakistan remains committed to providing political, diplomatic and moral support to what he described as the "just struggle" of the Kashmiri people and reiterated its support for their right to self-determination.

He also said Pakistan's position is based on the relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and those adopted by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

The Pakistani government reiterated its call for the international community to play a more active role in the Kashmir issue and affirmed that it would continue supporting the Kashmiri people's right to determine their own future through their free will.
