Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar arrived in Amman, Jordan, to attend the Ministerial Meeting on Jerusalem hosted by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Dar was welcomed in Amman by Saja Almajali, Director of the Human Rights Directorate at Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Pakistan's Ambassador to Jordan, Brigadier General (Ret.) Khurram Sarfraz Khan, and officials from the Pakistani Embassy.

The statement said Dar is expected to hold an intensive diplomatic program during his visit to Amman.

As part of the program, Pakistan's foreign minister is scheduled to attend the Ministerial Meeting on Jerusalem, meet with King Abdullah II of Jordan, and hold bilateral meetings with the foreign ministers of several countries.

The meetings are expected to focus on the latest developments in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, as well as regional developments and bilateral issues of mutual interest.
