The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that numerous Hezbollah members were neutralized and the group’s infrastructure was destroyed as part of operations carried out by the Air Force and the 91st Division in southern Lebanon.

In its statement, the IDF said that the Air Force continues to support ground operations and that more than 40 terrorists were neutralized over the past week alone.

It was stated that the Air Force and the 91st Division forces neutralized a terrorist cell. The division forces also noted that they have so far neutralized hundreds of Hezbollah terrorists.

It was reported that forces from the 769th Brigade Combat Team identified a terrorist cell in an area close to the operating forces and spotted one of the terrorists hiding in the bushes.

The statement included the following:

“Immediately after the identification, the terrorist was neutralized by the Air Force under the direction of the division forces. During the neutralization, a vehicle carrying the terrorist cell that had fled the compounds, along with the remaining terrorists inside it, was identified and struck.

The Air Force continues to support the ground operations of the division forces and, under their direction, struck a combat vehicle depot and additional Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure. In the past week alone, more than 40 terrorists were neutralized and more than 50 terrorist infrastructure sites were destroyed under the division’s direction.”
