IDF rescue teams deployed to the area
Tel Aviv, March 22 (Hibya) - The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that following a fall incident in the south of the country, Home Front Command search and rescue units and Air Force helicopters were deployed to the area.
Following a report of an incident in southern Israel, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched a large-scale operation.
Specialized search and rescue teams from the Home Front Command arrived at the scene and began operations.
In a statement, the IDF said the teams were acting in coordination: “At the incident site in the south of the country, where a fall was reported, Home Front Command rescue and search and rescue teams continue their work in cooperation with additional rescue and medical teams.”
It was reported that the operation is also supported from the air. The IDF stated: “Air Force helicopters have been deployed to the area along with the units and are currently assisting the local population.”
