Lahbib: 15 million people displaced in the second year of war in Sudan
Brussels, April 12 (Hibya) – EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib announced that 15 million people were displaced during the second year of the war in Sudan.
Commissioner Lahbib stated that the conflict in Sudan has displaced 15 million people in its second year.
Following her meeting with UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi, Lahbib said, “The pressure on neighboring countries is enormous. But our message is clear: you are not alone. The EU stands in solidarity.”
