Lammy: The United Kingdom stands with Ukraine
London, February 24 (Hibya) – Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, David Lammy, made a statement on the fourth anniversary of Russia’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Lammy stated that four years have passed since Russia’s “illegal full-scale invasion” of Ukraine and mentioned that he was in Kyiv last month, witnessing the “extraordinary courage of the Ukrainian people in the face of relentless Russian aggression.”
Emphasizing that the United Kingdom will continue to stand by Ukraine, Lammy shared the message, “Our support for a just and lasting peace will continue unwaveringly. Slava Ukraini.”
