Leyen: Euro is coming to Bulgaria
Chișinău, July 8 (Hibya) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced that the euro is coming to Bulgaria.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen declared that Bulgaria will adopt the euro.
She stated that on January 1, 2026, Bulgaria will become the 21st country in the Eurozone: “This is not just a new currency, but a real achievement. The euro will strengthen Bulgaria’s economy and bring great benefits to the Bulgarian people and businesses.”
