Minister Shaheen met with Palestine's Ambassador to South Africa, Bienfeldt
Ramallah, March 26 (Hibya) – Palestinian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Farseen Agabekian Shaheen, met with Palestine's Ambassador to South Africa, Shaun Bienfeldt, to discuss the latest political and field developments in Palestine amid the ongoing escalation of Israeli tensions against the Palestinian people.
Minister Shaheen addressed the ongoing Israeli crimes and violations against the Palestinian people, particularly in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. She emphasized the tireless political and diplomatic efforts by the Palestinian government to stop the aggression and secure an immediate ceasefire.
She praised the strong historical ties between Palestine and the Republic of South Africa and expressed appreciation for South Africa’s principled and steadfast stance in supporting the Palestinian cause in all regional and international forums.
Ambassador Bienfeldt reaffirmed his country’s firm position in supporting the rights of the Palestinian people and categorically rejected the ongoing Israeli aggression. He stressed that South Africa stands by Palestine’s legitimate struggle for freedom and justice and called for intensified international efforts to halt the aggression, end the occupation, and achieve justice for the Palestinian people.
