Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to allegations of "anti-Christian rhetoric" circulating on social media and in the press following his recent press conference.

Emphasizing that the reports do not reflect the truth, Netanyahu said, "More false news about my stance toward Christians who are protected and thriving in Israel. Let me state clearly: I did not insult Jesus Christ at my press conference this evening."

Explaining the context of his remarks, Netanyahu noted that he referred to the views of American historian Will Durant and stated:

"On the contrary, I cited the great American historian Will Durant as an example. Durant, a passionate admirer of Jesus Christ, pointed out that morality alone is not sufficient for survival. Even a morally superior civilization may fall into the hands of a ruthless enemy if it lacks the power to defend itself."

Netanyahu concluded his statement by saying, "I had no intention of offending anyone."
