Dar: My prayers are for the continued progress and well-being of our nation
Islamabad, March 20 (Hibya) - Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishak Dar, after his diplomatic engagements, visited the Prophet’s Mosque and the Uhud Martyrs’ Cemetery in Medina, where he prayed for Pakistan’s prosperity and the unity of the Muslim Ummah.
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishak Dar traveled to the holy lands following his diplomatic agenda.
Dar announced that he arrived in Medina last night after completing the Consultative Ministers Meeting attended by 12 foreign ministers and a series of bilateral and quadrilateral meetings.
Providing information about the spiritual stops of his visit, Dar said, "I paid my respects at Mount Uhud (Jabal Uhud), and upon my arrival, I conveyed my greetings to the Prophet at Al-Masjid an-Nabawi."
Sharing the content of his prayers at the holy sites, Minister Dar stated:
"My prayers are for the peace and prosperity of Pakistan, for the continued progress and well-being of our nation, and for strength, unity, and resilience across the Muslim Ummah. In these challenging times, I wish for wisdom and cooperation within the international community; lasting peace and shared prosperity for all."
