IDF: Public urged to act in accordance with instructions
Jerusalem, March 20 (Hibya) - The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it has detected missile launches from Iran toward Israeli territory, stating that air defense systems have been activated nationwide and that citizens should enter shelters.
In a statement by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), it was noted that missiles launched from Iran are heading toward Israeli airspace.
Providing technical details about the attack, the IDF stated: "We have recently detected missile launches from Iran toward Israeli territory. Our defense systems are actively working to intercept this threat."
Military authorities warned the public of a life-threatening danger and reported that direct alerts have been sent to the mobile phones of citizens in high-risk areas via the Home Front Command.
The statement included the following instructions:
"The public is asked to act responsibly and follow the instructions, as this saves lives. After receiving the alert, you must enter protected areas and remain there until further notice. Leaving the protected area will only be possible after receiving clear instructions."
