Netanyahu: Terror organization's proposal was far from Israel's basic demands
Jerusalem, May 8 (Hibya) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said yesterday that the proposal put forward by the terrorist organization was far from Israel's basic demands.
Netanyahu noted that the proposal put forward by the terrorist organization yesterday aimed to prevent Israeli forces from entering Rafah.
In his statement, Netanyahu said, "Last night, I directed movement to Rafah with the approval of the War Cabinet. Israeli flags were raised in Rafah, while terrorist flags were lowered. Entry into Rafah achieves two main goals of the war: bringing back our hostages and eliminating the terrorist organization. As determined by the unanimous decision of the War Cabinet, the terrorist proposal was far from Israel's basic demands."
