Palestinian Minister Shaheen Continues Talks in Geneva
Geneva, February 24 (Hibya) - The Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Farsin Aghabekian Shaheen, met with Maldivian Foreign Minister Abdulla Khalil and President of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Mirjana Spoljaric Egger, during the 58th session of the Human Rights Council.
Minister Shaheen met with Maldivian Foreign Minister Abdulla Khalil and ICRC President Mirjana Spoljaric Egger to discuss developments in Palestine and strengthen political and humanitarian cooperation.
Also present at the meeting were the Permanent Representative of Palestine to the UN in Geneva, Ambassador Ibrahim Khraishi, and First Secretary Dania Dasouki.
During his meeting with the Maldivian Foreign Minister, Minister Shaheen expressed his appreciation for the Maldives' firm and supportive stance on the Palestinian cause, emphasizing the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation and activating political consultations between the two countries.
