Plenkovic stated that the meeting addressed the situation in the Middle East, support for Ukraine, energy security, the enlargement of the European Union, and the construction of a more competitive Europe, emphasizing their pride in the EPP’s 50 years of values and achievements.
In his statement, Plenkovic said, “The EPP must today show leadership in addressing the geopolitical and socio-economic challenges facing Europe.”
