Putin said he is ready to work with Americans on rare earth metals
Moscow, February 25 (Hibya) – Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Russia is ready to invite foreign partners, including Americans, both at the government level and company level, to collaborate on rare earth metals.
Putin also emphasized that Moscow is not interested in U.S.-Ukraine negotiations regarding rare earth metals.
In an interview with Pavel Zarubin after a meeting on the development of rare earth metal mining in the Russian Federation, Putin said:
"By the way, we are ready to offer this to our American partners, and by partners, I mean not only administrative and governmental structures but also companies if they show interest in cooperation. I want to emphasize that we have far more of these resources than Ukraine does."
"Russia is one of the undisputed leaders in reserves of these rare and rare-earth metals. We have them in the north, in Murmansk, in the Caucasus, in Kabardino-Balkaria, in the Far East, in the Irkutsk region, in Yakutia, and in Tuva. These are capital-intensive investments, capital-intensive projects. We would be happy to cooperate with all foreign partners, including Americans," he said.
