Russian Defense Ministry takes control of two settlements
Moscow, March 31 (Hibya) - As clashes between Russia and Ukraine intensified along the Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia lines, both sides announced that they had made strategic gains over the past 24 hours.
According to CCTV, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported that it had taken control of two settlements in the Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions.
According to official data, Russian forces targeted Ukrainian military airfields, energy infrastructure facilities, and launch points for long-range unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
It was also reported that Russian air defense units shot down 312 fixed-wing UAVs over the past day and carried out strikes on temporary deployment points of foreign mercenaries.
On the same day, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that 147 clashes had taken place on the front lines over the past 24 hours. The Ukrainian side stated that Russia’s attempts to advance deeper into the territory had been thwarted and that three areas where Russian personnel and equipment were concentrated had been successfully struck.
Ukrainian troops also claimed that they had targeted a Russian UAV control center and neutralized more than 2,400 UAVs in total.
