Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Following Russia’s large-scale air attack carried out on the night of January 13, 2026, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha issued a statement opposing the use of winter conditions as a weapon.

Highlighting the humanitarian dimension and legal nature of the attack, Sybiha said: “Overnight, Russia attacked Ukraine using more than 300 drones, 18 ballistic missiles, and 7 cruise missiles, targeting energy resources in an effort to leave people without electricity, water, and heating. Russia is deliberately trying to impose living conditions that would lead to the physical destruction of the Ukrainian people.”

Referring to civilian casualties and the targeting of civilian infrastructure, Sybiha stated: “In a Russian attack on an ordinary civilian postal terminal in the Kharkiv region, four people were killed. Even in the Kyiv region alone, thousands of people were left without electricity. There should be no illusions about what Russia is trying to achieve.”

Addressing the stance of international mechanisms and allies, Sybiha concluded: “Russia cynically carried out this attack precisely at a time when the UN Security Council’s emergency meeting in New York was focused on previous barbaric attacks against civilians in Ukraine. Moscow completely disregards not only the UN Charter but also the peace efforts led by the United States. We need concrete steps to increase the cost of war for the aggressor.”
