The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned Israel’s attack targeting military infrastructure in the south of the country.

It was emphasized that the attack carried out by Israel constitutes a clear violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, and that it represents a direct assault on Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The ministry underlined that this act is a continuation of Israel’s escalation policy, stating: "We call on the international community, especially the United Nations Security Council, to assume its responsibilities."

It was also stressed that Israel’s policies of attacks and threats in the region must come to an end.
