Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani made a statement regarding the economic and political implications of the ceasefire agreement that reduced tensions in the Middle East.

Referring to the positive effects of the ceasefire on civilians and the economy, Tajani said: "The two-week suspension of hostilities is a very positive development. It is a good step towards a peace agreement for the civilian population, the region and Israel, but also for our economy."

Addressing oil prices, Tajani stated: "As oil prices have already fallen below 100 dollars, this prevents sudden increases in energy prices. It is an opportunity for our system to breathe."

Highlighting Italy’s diplomatic efforts, Tajani said: "Italy will continue to do its utmost over the next two weeks to finalize the agreements. In fact, today the Director for Political Affairs at the Farnesina will meet with the Iranian ambassador in Italy."

Emphasizing the conditions for a solution and EU support, Tajani concluded: "Iran must not possess nuclear weapons, and it is a good thing that the United States is not bombing civilians. A negotiated solution is critical to bringing peace and stability, and we support it together with the entire European Union."
