Tsahkna: Airspace will be closed to countries aligning with Russia
Tallinn, April 19 (Hibya) – Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna announced that airspace will be closed to countries deepening relations with Russia.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna stated that they will adopt a new stance toward countries strengthening ties with Russia.
Tsahkna said, “Estonia will not allow any state that chooses to deepen its ties with Russia to use its airspace.”
Stating that Russia violates international norms, Tsahkna said, “Russia continues to violate international norms as if it were a sport, threatening Europe’s security while continuing its actions in Ukraine.”
Emphasizing the need to maintain pressure on Russia, Tsahkna added, “We must continue to isolate the aggressor politically and economically and maintain pressure until it fully faces the consequences of its actions.”
