UAE Ministry of Defence launches Beladi program
Abu Dhabi, August 27 (Hibya) - The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Defence has launched the Beladi program with the aim of developing national competencies and strengthening the country's defence capabilities.
According to a statement by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Defence, the Beladi program was launched to prepare and develop the country's national competencies.
The 11-month program will be carried out as part of national service. During the first year of the program, various training and development programs will be implemented in specialized fields.
In the first phase of the program, psychological, physical and cognitive tests, as well as direct interviews and field assessments, were conducted to identify the abilities of young Emiratis.
Specialist leaders and instructors from the UAE Armed Forces will take part in the program, which will provide practical training while developing participants' skills and leadership capacities.
The statement said that establishing a sustainable structure beyond the training process would contribute to developing a qualified operational reserve force and strengthening national preparedness capacity.
