UNRWA: Over 454,000 children vaccinated in Gaza during the first 2 days of the campaign
New York, February 24 (Hibya) - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced that during the first two days of the campaign in Gaza, over 454,000 children under the age of 10 were vaccinated.
UNRWA stated in its announcement that the polio vaccination campaign across Gaza continued into its third day.
The statement emphasized that UNRWA teams, working in partnership with UNICEF and the World Health Organization, are working around the clock to vaccinate children against a disease that knows no borders. "In just the first two days of the campaign, over 454,000 children under the age of 10 were vaccinated."
