Araghchi: The UK is putting its people at risk by opening its bases
Tehran, March 20 (Hibya) - Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi criticized the United Kingdom for opening its bases to the United States, stating that this puts the British public in danger.
Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi said that the vast majority of the British people do not want to be involved in this war chosen by Israel and the United States against Iran.
Criticizing UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Araghchi said: “By ignoring his own people, he allows British bases to be used for attacks. This puts British lives at risk.”
Araghchi stated that if attacks occur, Iran will exercise its legitimate right to self-defense.
