Stubb: We are ready to contribute to safe passage in Hormuz
Helsinki, March 20 (Hibya) - Finnish President Alexander Stubb said that Iran’s attacks are condemned and that they are ready to contribute to ensuring safe passage.
President Stubb stated that Finland, together with its close partners, joined the joint statement regarding the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.
Condemning Iran’s attacks on commercial vessels and attempts to disrupt maritime transport, Stubb said: “All countries are called upon to respect international law and uphold the principles of international security. We are ready to contribute to appropriate efforts to ensure safe passage through the strait.”
