Grandi: I wish for all people in Iran to live in peace
New York, March 1 (Hibya) - United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi stated that amid the ongoing war environment, the people of Iran deserve a future of security, freedom, and peace.
Filippo Grandi spoke about the military developments and the conflict situation in the region.
Referring to his Iranian colleagues with whom he has worked for many years and to the Iranian people, Grandi included the following message:
“In this time of war, I think of my Iranian friends and colleagues with whom I have worked for decades; I wish for their future, and for the future of all people in Iran, to be one of real security, freedom, and peace, as they desire and deserve.”
