Brussels, March 21 (Hibya) - United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called on the United States and Israel to end the war and return to diplomacy.
According to CCTV, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called on the United States and Israel to end the war and return to diplomacy instead of military actions.
Speaking to the press during a European Council meeting in Brussels, Guterres said: “It is time to end this war.”
Guterres emphasized that the effects of the war extend far beyond the conflict zone, stating: “There is a serious spillover across the global economy, and this could have tragic consequences, especially for the least developed countries.”
“It is time for diplomacy to prevail over war,” Guterres said, calling on the international community.
