Israeli President Isaac Herzog received Aviva and Keith Siegel, who were freed from Hamas captivity, at the Presidential Residence.

During the meeting, Herzog stated that the book in which Aviva Siegel recounts her experiences is “a powerful testimony to the worst face of humanity in Hamas captivity.” Herzog said, “This book reflects not only trauma and pain, but also the extraordinary spirit, faith, and strength of the Siegel family.”

President Herzog emphasized the importance of sharing the couple’s experience with the public, saying, “Their story must be heard. Their courage must never be forgotten.”
