Montenegro emphasizes NATO and regional stability
Podgorica, May 12 (Hibya) - Montenegro President Jakov Milatovic met with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
Montenegro President Jakov Milatovic stated that during NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte’s visit, they discussed regional security, NATO membership, and the modernization of defense capacities.
Milatovic highlighted the importance of a stable region and strong institutions for Montenegro, which is in the final stage of negotiations with the European Union.
Stating that Montenegro is a factor of stability in the region, Milatovic said that his country continues to act as a responsible member of NATO.
